Mackay Masereka

Mackay directs all Uganda program activities, including the Bulamu’s Maternal and Child Health program, surgery programs, health systems, and government relations, while also leading Bulamu’s team. He is our interface with stakeholders in each local district and with MOH officials and MPs at the national level. Mackay joined Bulamu in 2017 after 19 years of experience in program management with NGOs (including Family Health International, ICEA, and ActionAid International) that provide hospice, HIV/AIDS care, and other healthcare services in Uganda. He earned a BA in Social Sciences from Makerere University and an MA in Development Studies from Uganda Martyrs University.
