Solomon Wasswa

Solomon Wasswa has a bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from the Mbarara University of Science and Technology. At Bulamu, he leads the implementation of the Health Center Excellence program in the field, including the weekly analysis and distribution of the graphic management reports that Bulamu provides to our partner districts. Wasswa has worked in pharmacist roles as well as with multiple Ministry of Health initiatives. His MOH partnership experience includes projects led by Management Sciences for Health (MSH) to improve inventory management and data capturing, and training health workers in inventory management-based IT system called Rx, as well as working with TASO’s Soroti Branch in the clinical management of HIV and TB. While with TASO, he supported the chairperson for Medicines and Therapeutics Committee (MTC) of Soroti Regional Referral Hospital with a drug indicator survey that ultimately improved the appropriate use of medicines and procurement for the Hospital on a bimonthly basis through Uganda’s National Medical Stores.
